Hobby Prodigy Fundraising Event

WHEN

November 17, 2018 - The Mall at Robinson

The Asservo Project will be holding a special fundraising event at Hobby Prodigy located in the Mall at Robinson! In order to attend this event, we ask that you visit the Hobby Prodigy website to create a reservation for the day of the event. As all crafts on this day will help benefit TAP, you will be able to make a reservation for any time that is convenient for you within the reservation time frame of 10:00 am - 6:30 pm.

HOw it Works

Hobby Prodigy is a DIY crafting studio located in the Mall at Robinson (first level, Entry C by Macy's). Hobby Prodigy specializes in custom ordered wood crafts and home decor. To make a reservation, please visit our website: www.hobbyprodigy.com/reservations/

STEPS

  1. Visit our website to learn about our studio! Start on our FAQ page if you are unfamiliar with what we do: https://www.hobbyprodigy.com/faqs/
  2. Visit our craft menu https://www.hobbyprodigy.com/craft-menu/  and our wood size menu https://www.hobbyprodigy.com/wood-size-menu/! This page will show you all of the different crafts which can be created in our maker-space.
  3. Choose your craft from the craft menu! It is easier to choose your design if you know what size/shape board you'd like. *Please note that some crafts do not include a design*
  4. Choose your design! Visit our design library (https://www.hobbyprodigy.com/design-library/) for some inspiration, but remember, you can always search Pinterest and Google for other designs. Our graphic designers are happy to create a custom stencil using your own images.
  5. Make your reservation! Follow the instructions on the reservation page to reserve your crafts for the day of the event! Be sure to mention TAP in your reservation, so we can know how many crafters to expect. It is important to submit your reservation as soon as possible because Hobby Prodigy has a 72 hour policy for custom crafts (please see reservation for policy information). Any crafters who do not make a reservation will need to choose a design from our walk-in cart the day of the reservation.
  6. Craft! Join us for a great day of crafting and fellowship at Hobby Prodigy. We invite guests to bring any food or drink you'd like (including alcoholic beverages like wine and beer!)  Please call us at Hobby Prodigy with any questions:  412-787-3500. We look forward to seeing you there!

Giving Tuesday

WHEN

November 27, 2018

HOW IT WORKS

The Asservo Project is getting ready for #GivingTuesday. We are raising funds to combat global human trafficking and sexual predators, support the recovery of victims, and aid in the imprisonment of perpetrators.

#GivingTuesday is a day to give back. So after after you’re done getting great deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, please consider giving to the Asservo Project as a way start off the giving season.

We are so much more effective when we work together. Every act of generosity is so appreciated.

STEPS

A few specific ways you can contribute to the Asservo Project are:

  • Give a financial donation on #GivingTuesday through #GiveBigPittsburgh.  (Just click on the  #GiveBigPittsburgh link)
  • Use your employer’s matching donation
  • Share YOUR reason for giving on social media
  • (BEFORE Cyber Monday) Please add The Asservo Project as the organization you would like to support and shop AmazonSmile

Please consider adding giving to your holiday budget. Even if you would like to donate your coffee money for the week your sacrifice would be so valuable.

When you give you benefit victims, but you also benefit by knowing that you’re helping a noble cause. We thank you for your abolitionist efforts.

Sincerely,

The Asservo Project Team
